We have all arrived safely after many adventures. When the group from Freeport arrived at O'Hare we found out the flight to Atlanta was cancelled.
Delta sent the group, via taxi, to Midway to catch another flight. During this time Sam's flight from Minneapolis to Chicago was delayed due to weather and we weren't sure she was going to make the connection to Atlanta with us. Jon worked with Delta to get her a direct flight to Atlanta.
Sam arrived in Atlanta to meet up with Jamie, Tara and the group from Freeport, arriving with 45 minutes to get from one end of the airport to the other. There were many prayers of thanks when we all finally sat down on the plane flying to Manaus.
We arrived to a greeting party and 98% of our luggage. After loading into busses, driving to the church, we had snacks and unwound before calling it a night...or early morning as it was.
Glad to hear Sam made it OK! Must have been all the prayers from her small group in MN :)
